After the success of the ESHP Symposium series, the organizers have decided to organize the 4th symposium (ESHP 2013) at Okinawa National College of Technology, Nago, Okinawa, Japan. Professor S. Itoh, President of Okinawa National College of Technology would like to welcome all the participants with traditional Okinawa hospitality. Same as the previous ESHP series, explosion, shock wave, high-energy reaction and other high-rate phenomena will be the main topic of the symposium. Proposals for invited lectures, developing special sessions and others are welcome to us, and topics covering the symposium are not strictly limited. The invitation of eminent professors and researchers will be determined. Same as the previous symposiums, issuing proceedings book through Materials Science Forum (Trans Tech Publications) has been decided. The proceedings book will be published after the symposium. Papers should be brought at the time of the symposium and will be peer reviewed by two reviewers. Details in the manuscript preparation will be published at the website below.

Credit Card is being arranged and it is possible to pay the fees on conference website, so early bird registration is highly recommended to ensure the services at the time of the symposium. Regular and student fees include coffee breaks and banquet, and regular participants will be able to receive the proceedings book after the symposium.
Okinawa is in the subtropical area next to Taiwan. Nago is about one hour drive from Naha International Airport. For foreign participants who will arrive late at night, transportation from the Airport to Nago city will be prepared. Transportation between major hotels in Nago and the College will be being prepared for foreign participants. For domestic participants, the use of rent-a-car is recommended due to the low price in Okinawa region. There are many places to visit such as Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium, local beer factory and others around the area. For those who will reserve hotels yourselves, the organizers will show you the list of selected hotels at different prices at the web site. The persons who need special VISA documents are requested to contact Professor J. Matsue (see the last page).

This will be done over 10 people and costs 10,000.-JPY.
ii. Shopping tour (March 28th whole day)
This will be done over 10 people and costs 9,000.-JPY.
2. An excursion for participants, students and accompanied people (March 29th afternoon)
The fee is included in the registration fee. This tour will show you Peace Memorial Park , Shuri Castle and etc.. After the tour you will be back to Nago City via Toyoko INN Naha Omoromachi Ekimae and Naha Air Port.
