From Jan. 18th to Jan. 20th, 2010, Professor Toshimori Sekine of Japan National Institute for Materials Science visited SPC under the invitation of Prof. Pengwan Chen. During his stay in Beijing Institute of Technology, Professor Sekine gave a series of lectures entitled "Shock wave and the basis for its materials application", "Shock synthesis and exploration in the system Si3N4-AlN-SiO2-Al2O3" and "Shock synthesis of organic materials from inorganic materials ".
