From Jan. 18^th to Jan. 20^th, 2010, Professor Toshimori Sekine of Japan National Institute for Materials Science visited SPC under the invitation of Prof. Pengwan Chen. During his stay in Beijing Institute of Technology, Professor Sekine gave a series of lectures entitled "Shock wave and the basis for its materials application", "Shock synthesis and exploration in the system Si3N4-AlN-SiO2-Al2O3" and "Shock synthesis of organic materials from inorganic materials ".
