From Sep.13th to 17th, 2011, Prof. Rolf Prummer of Karlsruhe University paid a visit to SPC under the invitation of Prof. Pengwan Chen. During his stay in Beijing Institute of Technology, Prof. Prummer gave two lectures entitled "Explosives and shock wave, useful for mankind - a survey" and "Explosive compaction of nano-alumina powder” and had an in-depth discussion with SPC members regarding the progress of peaceful application of shock waves and future collaboration.
